This picture is for all the Slovaks who tell me my selections are too easy. I’m not sure this one will be easy or not, but both the location the picture is taken from and the object in the distance are famous places.
Where are they?

I didn't spend a very long time in Slovakia, but isn't that the chapel outside of Nitra? Called something like Calvary chapel?

No. It's farther east in Levoca. I know it though these days the hill is not so green. With little rain the land is much more brown.

Yes, I took this picture in the town of Levoča looking at Mariánska hora, the chapel on Marian hill. In my latest blog "Folk Culture and Communism" I mentioned the chapel and how it is the location of a large Catholic pilgrimage that happens every year in July.

I would have plumped for Banska Stiavnica. They have a Calvary there, too. I've never been to Levoca. On reflection, the lanscape ifs too flat for Stiavnica.
